Technical foundation
Indexing, discovery, site structure and page-level SEO implementation.
Case study 01 · Ongoing since July 2026
A website launched from scratch, then developed into a clearer, more technically sound discovery system for an operations consultancy serving operationally complex businesses.
01 / Overview
VISPSOC’s site was launched in late July 2026. The work that followed has focused on establishing the conditions for durable discovery: a technically accessible site, useful content around operational problems, a stronger information architecture and early visibility across both conventional search and the generative search appearances reported by Google Search Console.
02 / The challenge
A new site has no accumulated search history, established content graph or external link profile to lean on. The first task was therefore foundational: make the site crawlable, indexable and coherent, then build topical relevance around the operational questions its audience is already asking.
That meant connecting technical SEO with content strategy, internal linking and page-level optimisation. As AI-powered discovery became part of the measurement picture, the work expanded to include GEO and AI visibility assessment—while keeping the evidence separate from broader, unmeasured claims about every AI assistant.
Indexing, discovery, site structure and page-level SEO implementation.
Keyword research, content development, on-page improvements and internal linking.
GEO optimisation and assessment of the search appearances visible in GSC.
03 / Work performed
VISPSOC’s website was launched from scratch, creating the initial platform for organic discovery.
Initial content and blog development, keyword research, search indexing and discovery, technical SEO implementation and the first organic search foundations.
Expanded content architecture, on-page SEO, internal linking, technical refinement, search visibility development, GEO and AI discovery optimisation, and AI visibility assessment.
04 / Search performance
Google Search Console · 6 August – 5 November 2026
| Content or query | Impressions | Clicks | Position |
|---|---|---|---|
| 10 Signs Your Business Has Outgrown Manual Operations | 1,458 | 6 | 5.03 |
| How to Improve Inventory Visibility in Manufacturing | 970 | 1 | — |
| What Is Manufacturing Visibility and Why Does It Matter | 916 | 0 | — |
when do teams outgrow manual management? | 798 | 2 | 2.55 |
The approximate average position is a reporting summary, not a precise ranking for every keyword. The page and query examples show early topical visibility and a clear opportunity to improve click-through performance.
05 / Generative search
The Google Search Console Generative AI search appearance report recorded 856 GenAI impressions across 37 pages. The article “10 Signs Your Business Has Outgrown Manual Operations” accounted for 698 impressions, approximately 81.5% of the report total.
These are impressions in a specific GSC report. They are not 856 AI citations, ChatGPT mentions or a measurement of every appearance in ChatGPT, Perplexity or other AI assistants.
06 / Analytics signal
Organic Search also recorded 15 engaged sessions and 16 first-time users. That engagement rate is an encouraging early signal, but the sample is small. GA4 recorded operations_review_click (40 events from 23 users), whatsapp_click (5 events from 5 users) and form_start (3 events from 3 users). These are interaction events, not confirmed completed enquiries, and the figures do not represent leads or sales.
07 / Technical health
PageSpeed Insights laboratory tests captured on 8 November 2026 show a strong technical starting point across the homepage, services and contact pages. Mobile performance scores were 93, 94 and 87; desktop scores were 77, 88 and 83. Accessibility, Best Practices and SEO scored 100 for all six page tests.
Across the tests, FCP and LCP were 0.9s on mobile and 0.2s on desktop, with CLS at 0. TBT ranged from 280–420ms on mobile and 300–540ms on desktop, making JavaScript execution the clearest optimisation opportunity. These are Lighthouse laboratory results—not real-user Core Web Vitals. GSC currently has insufficient field data for Core Web Vitals.
| Page | Mobile | Desktop | Shared checks |
|---|---|---|---|
| Homepage | 93 | 77 | Accessibility 100 · Best Practices 100 · SEO 100 |
| Services | 94 | 88 | Accessibility 100 · Best Practices 100 · SEO 100 |
| Contact | 87 | 83 | Accessibility 100 · Best Practices 100 · SEO 100 |
08 / Indexation & links
On 23 October 2026, Search Console showed 98 indexed pages and 7 not indexed pages, with 1,877 internal links reported. The excluded URLs included redirects, a duplicate canonical, a soft 404, a 404 and a crawled-but-not-indexed URL; exclusions are not automatically SEO errors.
Both submitted sitemaps—https://www.vispsoc.com/sitemap.xml and https://vispsoc.com/sitemap.xml—reported success and 100 discovered pages. This should not be read as 200 unique pages.
At the time of the GSC screenshot, the Links report displayed zero external links. Since then, placements were established through the VISPSOC LinkedIn company page, the Senditfilms website footer and the VISPSOC Clutch profile. These have not yet appeared in GSC’s external links report, so they are described as recently established placements—not confirmed backlink authority gains.
09 / Early commercial evidence
The website has supported a confirmed relationship-led Digital Foundation engagement, with a second opportunity progressing through a similar relationship-led path. In both instances, prospective clients reviewed VISPSOC’s digital presence before engaging. While these opportunities originated through existing professional relationships, the website played a role in communicating capabilities and establishing credibility during the decision-making process.
These are Digital Foundation engagements, not evidence of acquiring customers for VISPSOC’s primary operational transformation offering. The second opportunity is still incoming and should not be counted as a confirmed client.
This evidence does not support a claim that SEO independently generated a customer, that GEO or AI search directly generated either opportunity, or that the website was the sole reason for engagement. The defensible conclusion is narrower: the website functioned as a credibility and validation asset during relationship-led business development.
10 / What comes next
The foundation is in place, but the work is not finished. Priority opportunities include improving click-through performance on pages already earning impressions, continuing content expansion around high-value operational topics, refining internal pathways, monitoring indexation and structured discovery, and assessing how VISPSOC is represented across AI-powered search experiences over time.
